As the Organic Social & Content Lead, your role is to make Engine impossible to ignore. You’ll use organic social to tell a clear, compelling story about why Engine exists and why it matters — turning a great product into a brand people recognize, follow, and trust. This is a hands-on role where creativity, strategy, and execution come together to shape Engine’s voice and build real audience connection.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Strategy & Storytelling: Define and execute Engine’s organic social strategy in service of brand and business goals. Translate social listening and audience insight into compelling, relevant content.
- Hands-On Content Creation: Concept, produce, and edit short-form video and visual content optimized for Instagram, LinkedIn, and X. Own the full lifecycle from idea to publish to optimization.
- Channel Ownership & Management: Fully own Engine’s social media handles. This includes maintaining the publishing calendar, managing day-to-day operations, and ensuring the brand's presence is consistent and active.
- Active Monitoring & Engagement: Act as the primary voice of Engine by monitoring mentions, tags, and comments. You will handle real-time responses, engage in relevant industry threads, and manage community interactions to build trust and rapport.
- Community & Audience Insight: Stay close to social and community conversations (including Reddit and similar forums) to understand what customers care about and how they engage.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Growth, Sales & Partnerships, and Communications to align social content with launches, campaigns, and broader narratives. Elevate customer stories and UGC where it adds credibility and impact.
Qualifications
- Social native: You understand how Instagram, LinkedIn, and X actually work, how algorithms impact success, and how the social landscape is changing. You have a proven track record of building and scaling social presence for nascent accounts.
- Video-first: You have hands-on experience producing and editing short-form video built for social.
- Insight-driven: You know how to find signals in noise and turn audience behavior and conversation into strong content ideas.
- Creative and decisive: You can generate original ideas, execute quickly, measure what’s working, and pivot when it’s not.
Must love travel: Experience in (or genuine enthusiasm for) the travel industry.

Compensation
Our compensation packages are based on several factors, including your experience, expertise, and location. In addition to a competitive base salary, total compensation may include equity and/or variable pay (OTE). Your recruiter will share your complete compensation package as you move through the process.
Base Pay Range
$97,600 - $135,000 USD
