About the Role

Engineers Gate (EG) is a leading quantitative investment company focused on computer-driven trading in global financial markets.  We are a team of researchers, engineers, and financial industry professionals using sophisticated statistical models to analyze data and identify predictive signals to generate superior investment returns.  

As part of our Talent Acquisition team, the Recruiting Coordinator will support the end-to-end recruitment cycle and ensure a seamless experience for both candidates and hiring teams. The Recruiting Coordinator will work closely with teams across the firm to manage interview logistics, maintain recruiting data, and enhance our overall hiring process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates and interviewers
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, providing timely updates and maintaining a high quality and personalized candidate experience
  • Assist in managing job postings across various platforms, including our company website, job boards, and for internal referrals
  • Manage and maintain the applicant tracking system (Greenhouse), ensuring accurate and up-to-date candidate records
  • Support hiring teams by preparing interview materials and collecting feedback after each interview
  • Liaise where needed with agency partners to ensure searches run effectively  

Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience

  • 1-3 years office experience – experience in recruiting, HR, or a financial firm is preferred  
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with Greenhouse or another applicant tracking system is a plus 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously 
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with candidates, recruiting agencies, and internal hiring managers 
  • Meticulous attention to detail and discretion, especially when handling candidate information 
  • Ability to work and think independently, take initiative, and proactively anticipate needs 
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred  

The salary for this role is anticipated to be between $75,000 to $85,000.  This range does not include any potential bonus amounts, other forms of compensation, or benefits offered.  Actual compensation for successful candidates will be carefully determined based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s skills, qualifications, education and experience.
