Overview of the position

As a Senior Engineering Manager at Enhesa, you will lead teams of talented Engineers building modern applications that deliver value with quality to our global customer base, which includes many Fortune 500 companies. You will be responsible for guiding technical direction, ensuring teams deliver with quality, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You will play an important role in shaping our technology and helping to accelerate our progress towards SaaS excellence. At Enhesa, we prioritize our people, trusting them to deliver and investing in their growth. You will help reinforce this culture by actively coaching your teams and supporting their development.

Core responsibilities

  • Coach and mentor individuals to grow and develop skills. 
  • Collaborate with technical experts in the team to identify and prioritize enhancements in line with business needs.
  • Translate and communicate technical concepts and solutions to different stakeholders. 
  • Ensure new solutions are built according to Enhesa's architectural patterns.
  • Organize and facilitate team ceremonies as Scrum Master, including daily standups, retrospectives, refinements, and planning.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by prioritizing retrospection and following up on improvement actions.
  • Resolve impediments for the team. 
  • Execute the Engineering Strategy and other cross-team initiatives. 
  • Update the technical roadmap accordingly and provide input on the evolution of the strategy. 
  • Work with Engineering Managers from different teams to align. 
  • Prioritize delivering with quality.

Education Level

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience

A background in Software Development, including at least 4 years hands-on experience and 2 years as an Engineering Manager or equivalent.

Required Skills

  • Ability to lead large initiatives spanning multiple teams with high complexity.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles and practices. 
  • Experience working with SaaS products.
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
  • Experience with software development lifecycle and project management.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • High levels of professionalism, interpersonal skills, and personal drive.
  • Team player: ability to work on a team in a collaborative environment, sharing information and best practices.
  • Fluent in English. Other languages are an asset.
