Position Description

 

Overview

 

The Director of New Business is a management role responsible for shaping and executing Enhesa’s North America business development strategy across our Operations division. The Director of New Business leads a high-performing team and is accountable for driving sustainable revenue growth, expanding market presence, and building strategic partnerships. The Director of New Business plays a critical role in aligning business development with corporate strategy, operational excellence, and long-term value creation. The Director of New Business has a strong track record in enterprise business-to-business (B2B) sales and strategic planning in complex, fast-paced environments. 

 

Core Responsibilities

  • Defining and leading business development strategyin alignment with Enhesa’s commercial and corporate objectives within our North American Operations division.
  • Overseeing and managing the new business sales team, to ensure high performance and strategic alignment.
  • Expansion initiatives,identifying new geographies, sectors, and partnership opportunities.
  • Collaborating with executive leadership to shape go-to-market (GTM) strategies and influence product and service innovation.
  • Establishing and managing performance frameworks, key performance indicators (KPIs), and reporting structures to monitor business development impact.
  • Representing Enhesa at industry events, client forums, and strategic engagements to elevate brand visibility and thought leadership. 
  • Building and nurturing strategic partnershipsthat support long-term growth and differentiation. 
  • Leading change management initiatives to evolve business development capabilities, tools, and processes. 

Key Requirements & Experience

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in enterprise B2B sales, business development, or strategic partnerships. 
  • At least 3 years in a management role with global or multi-regional responsibilities. 
  • Private equity experience preferred.
  • Proven success in scaling business development functions and driving revenue growth in software as a service (SaaS), desktop as a service (DaaS), and platform as a service (PaaS) background. 
  • Mid-size company experience ($50-200m annual recurring revenue(ARR) minimum).
  • Experience in regulatory, sustainability, or compliance sectors is a strong advantage. 
  • Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) systems(e.g. Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce) and sales performance tools. 
  • MEDDPICC/BANT practitioner (ideally 5+ years). 
  • Strong understanding of strategic planning, market expansion, and partnership development.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. 
  • High levels of professionalism, interpersonal skills, and personal drive. 
  • Team player. High energy, ability to work in a collaborative environment, sharing information, and best practices.
  • Fluency in English. Other languages are an asset. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite 365. 

Salary Range

$150,000 - $160,000 USD
