Part-Time Office Administrator

About the Role:
As an Office Administrator for the South Jordan Office, you will be responsible for enhancing the overall office experience. Your duties will include managing maintenance requests, ordering kitchen supplies, handling shipping and receiving, overseeing safety and security, coordinating events, and managing reception and visitors. This role requires close collaboration with IT, People, and other support services teams. This is a part-time, on-site position, Monday through Thursday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. This role reports to the Head of Facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain high company standards for office appearance through regular inspections
- Proactively manage relationships and contracts with building management, vendors, and contractors for repairs, preventative maintenance, services, and supplies
- Collaborate with all levels of the organization, especially other Corporate Service Groups
- Manage ordering and stocking of kitchen snacks and office supplies
- Create new employee badges and replacement badges for existing employees
- Act as a Fire Warden and ensure all site-specific Emergency Action Plans are current
- Oversee, manage, and coordinate mail, shipping, and receiving
- Plan office events in collaboration with the Corporate Communications and DEI team leads
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience as a receptionist, office administrator, or executive assistant
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong focus on customer service
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively
- Proficient in Google Suite and MS Office applications
- Ability to move, bend, and lift up to 35 lbs
- First Aid/CPR/AED Certification preferred
Compensation:
The budgeted hourly rate range for this position is $17.50 to $23.50. Actual rate will be determined based on qualifications, skills, experience, and level assessed during the hiring process and may fall outside of the range shown. Additional compensation for this role may include commission or bonus. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in Company benefits, described in more detail here.
