Paid Social Specialist (Hybrid)
About the role:
At Enova, we understand the power of marketing across all paid media channels and the value they bring to our business and our customers. We are looking for a Paid Social Specialist who is eager to drive growth through creative strategy and continuous optimization.
Do you thrive in a performance marketing environment with an analytics-first approach? You'll collaborate with Creative, Analytics, Data Science, Product, and Legal, and help us test new social formats, audiences, and AI tools.
As the Paid Social Specialist, you will drive customer acquisition for OnDeck through paid social, focused on Meta and YouTube, continuous A/B testing, improving data pipelines and audience segmentation, and large performance/growth goals. You are accountable for delivering acquisition and growth targets, as well as consistently improving channel efficiency. The performance feedback loop on creative is central to the role: you'll turn results into creative direction and briefs for internal and external creative teams. Our social agency is a direct extension of you, and you'll hold them accountable for performance, deliverables, and strategic recommendations. You’ll present strategy and results to leadership, and own communication between leadership and cross-functional teams. Whatever your current title (Paid Social Specialist, Social Media Buyer, Paid Media Associate, Performance Marketer), if you have proven paid social or paid media results and want to expand your expertise, this is your opportunity!
Responsibilities:
- Own paid performance across growth channels, Meta and YouTube, accountable for acquisition volume, efficiency, and growth targets.
- Manage performance proactively: identify underperformance, diagnose the drivers, build corrective action plans, and make sure they are executed seamlessly.
- Hold our social agency, a direct extension of your team, accountable for performance, deliverables, and strategic recommendations.
- Lead strategy and take initiative: build testing roadmaps, recommend investment shifts, and bring forward new ways to scale the channels proactively.
- Own the creative performance feedback loop: turn results into creative direction, write briefs, QA creative, and keep creative teams, the agency, and Analytics up to speed.
- Work with Analytics and Data Science on data pipelines, audience segmentation, conversion setup, and value-based bidding to improve channel performance.
- Manage budgets, invoicing, projections, and daily optimization within efficiency targets, and partner with Website, Creative, and Legal on compliant landing pages, creative, and A/B tests that improve conversion rates.
- Use AI to speed up research, analysis, and reporting.
- Own communication between leadership and cross-functional team members, presenting strategy and results tied to P&L outcomes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Finance, or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years owning paid social or paid media performance and consistently hitting acquisition volume and efficiency targets, with hands-on Meta and YouTube experience. Be ready to share a win you drove, with the numbers behind it.
- Command of the performance levers: conversion setup, value-based bidding, audience segmentation, budget pacing, and structured A/B testing.
- Ability to spot underperformance early, diagnose the root cause, and drive corrective action.
- Strong analytical skills: combining data sources, GA4 or Adobe Analytics, SQL, Excel, and PowerPoint reporting, and tying performance to P&L outcomes.
- Experience using performance data to direct creative, write briefs, and QA, and holding agency partners accountable for results and deliverables.
- Familiarity with AI tools and the judgment to use them as a tool, not the end-all.
- Self-motivated owner with strong communication skills and confidence presenting to leadership and aligning cross-functional teams.
Compensation:
The budgeted annual salary range for this position is $90,000 to $120,000. Actual annual salary will be determined based on qualifications, skills, experience, and level assessed during the hiring process and may fall outside of the range shown.
