Sr. Project Controller

We are currently seeking a full-time Sr. Project Controller for our Memphis, TN office. This is an excellent opportunity to join and grow EnSafe, getting involved in a variety of projects for a diverse range of clients across the globe.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
This position would provide support to a group of Project Managers with all aspects of project financials and cost controls activity spanning a variety of Environmental, Engineering, and Health & Safety projects. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic driver of standards and accuracy and demonstrate a full knowledge of accounting and financial practices in the service industry.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Minimum Skills and Requirements:
- Must continuously be energized by a fast-paced environment and balance closing each month with attending needed project related meetings and assisting Project Managers.
- Working closely with multiple Project Managers to develop monthly project status reports.
- Assist Project Managers with their billing review.
- Ensure the project is being billed in accordance with applicable client\project agreements.
- Manage the financial structure/revenue setup for all assigned projects.
- Handling cost transfers while adhering to company policy and procedures.
- Prepping final invoices for review and posting to the financial system.
- A/R Collections, as needed.
- Tracking and inquiring on unbilled costs.
- Communicating billing status, as needed, to other team members.
- Provide support as required/needed by the Project Manager(s) and Project Controls Associate(s).
Preferred Skills:
- Associates or BA/BS in finance, business, accounting, or similar field is preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of billing experience in the service industry is required.
- MS Excel experience is required.
- Ability to manage high volume of projects.
- Ability to manage high volume of email via MS Outlook.
- High level of accuracy, organization, judgment, and attention to detail.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to be resourceful and professional with a variety of personalities.
- Able to travel on occasion.
