Position Description
ENSCO, Inc. is seeking an Information Technology Specialist (Level 3) to provide advanced technical support to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Air Traffic Organization (ATO) Cybersecurity Group within the NAS Security and Enterprise Operations (NASEO) Directorate. This position plays a key role in delivering complex, enterprise-level cybersecurity engineering solutions and managing specialized tools that safeguard the National Airspace System (NAS). The selected candidate will lead and contribute to the design, development, integration, and sustainment of cybersecurity standards, policies, and solutions. Responsibilities include performing in-depth technical assessments of planned system changes, identifying potential security impacts, and guiding the integration of secure architectures into operational environments. The role will oversee the development and management of advanced cybersecurity toolsets for asset management, threat modeling, and program integration, ensuring that systems and tools operate securely and efficiently in accordance with FAA and federal requirements.
Qualifications Required:

Bachelor’s degree in a related information technology field (may be substituted for 5 years of relevant experience)

10–15 years of experience (Master's Degree may substitute for 3 years; PhD may substitute for 7 years)

Understanding of secure configuration management and access control best practices

Hands-on experience with asset management systems, enterprise cybersecurity toolsets, and/or threat modeling software

Ability to implement, maintain, and optimize enterprise IT and cybersecurity tools in compliance with FAA and federal security requirements

Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)

Experience with federal cybersecurity programs or other high-security mission-critical environments

Ability to translate technical requirements into clear operational procedures and documentation

Salary Range
$90,001.60 - $120,663.47 USD
