Role Overview:
We are looking for a hands‑on Head of Talent & People Operations who will own the strategies and initiatives that empower our team to thrive in a high‑growth environment—while personally driving our hiring engine for Engineering, Product, and Design (EPD). You will act as the architect of our internal organisation, from talent planning and acquisition through performance management and culture building.

Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition
- Strategic Hiring Plan: Craft and execute our hiring strategy aligned with the product roadmap for Engineering, Product, and Design orgs.
- Pipeline Building Programs: Build recruiting channels—outbound sourcing, referral engines, agency partnerships, employer branding, and community events—to attract top‑tier talent.
People Operations
- Drive Employee Onboarding: Partner with stakeholders to deliver lightweight onboarding that ramps new hires to productivity.
- Performance & Compensation: Formalise performance cycles and leveling guides and maintain transparent, competitive compensation bands.
Culture & Engagement
- Recognition & Rituals: Launch engagement and recognition programs that foster candid feedback, transparency, and a culture of excellence.
- Listening Loops: Run pulse surveys and listening sessions, turning insights into actionable programs.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: 6+ years recruiting top‑tier engineering & product talent in product‑led tech companies (Series A/B preferred).
- Talent Magnet: Proven ability to hire 10+ engineers per year while maintaining ≥ 80 % offer‑accept rate.
- Networked: Deep connections in the Indian tech ecosystem and experience managing external recruiting partners.
- Tooling: Fluency with modern TA tools (Greenhouse, LinkedIn) and HRIS suites.
- Data‑Driven: Comfortable slicing funnel data, setting KPIs, and iterating processes weekly.
- Stakeholder Savvy: Able to coach founders & EMs and influence decisions without formal authority.
- Compliance Aware: Working knowledge of Indian labour law, contractor vs. FTE nuances, and POSH guidelines.
- Communication: Exceptional written & verbal skills; you inspire, align, and drive action across teams.
