IT Support Associate (CONTRACT)

Boston, MA

The Organization

What's happening at Entrada Therapeutics? Entrada is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company aiming to transform the lives of patients by establishing a new class of medicines that engage intracellular targets that have long been considered inaccessible.

Our Endosomal Escape Vehicle (EEV™)-therapeutics are designed to enable the efficient intracellular delivery of a wide range of therapeutics into a variety of organs and tissues, resulting in an improved therapeutic index. Through this proprietary, versatile and modular approach, Entrada is advancing a robust development portfolio of RNA- and protein-based programs for the potential treatment of neuromuscular and ocular diseases, among others.

Our lead oligonucleotide programs are in development for the potential treatment of people living with Duchenne who are exon 44, 45, 50 and 51 skipping amenable. Entrada has partnered to develop a clinical-stage program, VX-670, for myotonic dystrophy type 1.

We are a tight-knit team of experts and leaders in both therapeutic development and rare diseases and are excited to grow and attract colleagues who are ready to join a high-energy, dedicated team that likes to get things done and dramatically improve the lives of patients and their families.

The Perfect Addition to Our Team

You are a solutions-oriented IT professional who thrives in a fast-paced, science-driven environment. You’re equally comfortable supporting scientists in the lab and business users at their desks. You understand the importance of uptime, data integrity, and compliance in a regulated life sciences setting.

You take the initiative, solve problems independently, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical users. You bring a strong service mindset, a sense of urgency, and a commitment to operational excellence. Where you’re troubleshooting a GxP lab instrument PC or helping a new hire get set up on Day 1, you consistently deliver high-quality support with professional and care.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and reliable IT Support Associate to support a growing life sciences organization. This contract position offers the opportunity to work hands-on across both corporate and laboratory environments, providing advanced technical support in a fast-paced, regulated setting.

In this role, you will serve as a key IT resource—resolving escalated issues, supporting GxP lab systems, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations for scientific and business teams. You'll collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, contribute to IT projects, and help maintain compliance across all IT-supported systems.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced contractor who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and can quickly adapt to the unique needs of a biotech or pharmaceutical environment.

  • Configure, deploy, and manage endpoints using tools such as Intune and JAMF Pro.
  • Maintain accurate IT asset inventories and ensure consistent patching, antivirus, and encryption compliance.

Lab IT Support

  • Support lab-based computer systems, scientific instrument PCs, and lab-specific software (e.g., LIMS, ELN, Chromeleon, Waters).
  • Ensure uptime of critical lab IT systems in partnership with scientists and instrument vendors.
  • Assist with IT Compliance efforts (e.g. GxP, 21 CFR Part 11) including system validations, audit support, and documentation.
  • Manage lab-based network connections, instrument patching, and instrument PC imaging in alignment with IT and quality policies.

Systems Maintenance & Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Tier 1 and Tier 3 teams to escalate issues and support larger IT projects (e.g. system rollouts, office/lab moves).
  • Monitor, document, and improve IT processes, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
  • Support after-hours maintenance or lab uptime needs when required.
  • Contribute to IT change control documentation and participate in internal/external audits when necessary.

New Hire Onboarding & Orientation

  • Develop and deliver training sessions and one-on-one coaching for end users on tools such as Microsoft 365, Zoom, collaboration platforms, and security best practices.
  • Create and maintain IT user guides, self-help materials, FAQs, and internal knowledge base articles.
  • Promote technology adoption and empower users by simplifying complex technical topics.

End User Training & Documentation

  • Conduct IT orientation sessions for new employees, ensuring they are properly equipped and confident with company systems.
  • Provision and configure hardware, accounts, and access for new hires in coordination with HR and hiring managers.

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
