
Group Account Supervisor
Overview: The Account Group Supervisor (AGS) is responsible for leading the day-to-day tasks, being the client “go-to” for day-to-day, supporting the strategy and plans for multiple brands. They will build and maintain effective client relationships and mentor/support talent development across the team and direct reports. The AGS will attain financial goals through organic growth and new business opportunities and will meet all metrics associated with this role.
Responsibilities:
- Support VP in leading the brand strategy and maintaining strong client satisfaction on assigned brand(s)
- Operate and lead the day-to-day with autonomy, driving the business forward, effectively working and collaborating with team members
- Integrate variety of background materials and information into meaningful strategies and proposals for clients
- Provide strategic direction and approvals at significant steps of the creative process
- Ensure high standards of execution and communication in all client work
- Direct and interact with all agency/consultancy brand team members to ensure accurate information exchange and smooth workflow across all stages of a project
- Oversee and partner with VP on account finances, including forecast and income generation
- Identify organize growth opportunities with clients/brands to align to business goals
- Effectively present the agency’s recommendations, points-of-view, or strategy documents to clients, taking a leadership role in their preparation
- Proactively recommend and develop strategic solutions where appropriate, and maintain a proficiency in the pull-through of client-directed strategies
- Motivate account team to ensure a high level of client satisfaction
- Mentor, coach and develop direct report(s) by creating individual development plans, providing on the job learning and ensuring attendance at relevant OHGU courses
- Ensure performance appraisals are completed for direct reports
- Participate in select management courses offered by OHGU, as assigned
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of pharma agency experience
- Previous experience managing direct reports and multiple levels preferred
- Experience driving tactical work with multi-disciplinary teams
- Demonstrated strategic thinking skills
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Able to collaborate across a multi-disciplinary brand team
- Strong presentation skills
- Experience working in print, digital and other channels
- Experienced in / knowledgeable about health care access and reimbursement landscape.
The range below represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of an Omnicom Health Group company in the United States. Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience, training, associated responsibilities, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.
- $78,000 - $149,500
