Job Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative UX Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating intuitive, engaging, and user-centered digital experiences. This role will be responsible for designing user interfaces and experiences across digital platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet user needs and business goals. The UX Designer will play a key role in enhancing usability, accessibility, and the overall quality of user experiences across digital products and platforms.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • User Research – Plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative user research to understand user behaviors, needs, and motivations. Synthesize findings into actionable insights that inform product design and strategy.
  • Design Strategy – Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align design efforts with business goals. Define and advocate for UX best practices and user-centered design principles throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Wireframing and Prototyping – Develop low to high-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes using tools like Figma or Sketch. Iterate on designs based on feedback and usability testing outcomes.
  • Information Architecture – Organize and structure content in a way that supports usability and discoverability. Create site maps, user flows, and navigation systems that enhance the user journey.
  • Usability Testing – Design and execute usability tests to evaluate product features. Analyze results, identify usability issues, and recommend improvements to refine user experiences.
  • Accessibility Design – Ensure that designs meet accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.1). Work with developers to implement inclusive features that accommodate users with diverse needs and abilities.
  • Design Documentation – Create and maintain detailed documentation, including design specifications, user personas, and journey maps. Ensure clear communication of design decisions to stakeholders.
  • Collaboration – Work closely with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are feasible, aligned with user needs, and delivered on time.
  • Continuous Improvement – Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and emerging technologies. Actively seek opportunities to improve design processes, tools, and the overall user experience.

Qualifications:

  • Strong portfolio showcasing UX design work, including wireframes, prototypes, final designs, and explanations of design decisions.
  • Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and responsive design for web and mobile.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and translate research insights into actionable design solutions.
  • Experience conducting user research and usability testing, incorporating feedback to improve product experiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting design concepts and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional attention to visual, functional, and experiential detail throughout the design and development process.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in collaborative team environments across departments.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects, tasks, and shifting priorities effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced settings with evolving requirements and timelines.
  • Self-starter with a high level of initiative, integrity, and professional conduct.
  • Passion for continuous learning and growth, particularly in design trends, tools, and emerging technologies.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and front-end development principles is a plus.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in UX design, preferably in a tech or product-driven environment.
  • Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments is preferred.
