Technical Product Owner

We are seeking a results-driven Technical Product Owner to drive the execution of our innovative SaaS solutions in the property technology industry. This individual will serve as the voice of the customer and a key liaison between Product, Engineering, Design, and Go-to-Market teams. You’ll help shape, prioritize, and execute our roadmap—ensuring we deliver scalable, intuitive, and high-impact solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Platform & Infrastructure Product Ownership

  • Serve as Product Owner for platform and infrastructure teams, owning backlog refinement, prioritization, and sprint readiness
  • Translate platform and infrastructure needs into clear, actionable user stories and technical requirements
  • Ensure foundational capabilities such as performance, reliability, scalability, and observability are well-documented
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives

Cross-Domain Process Documentation & Discovery

  • Document end-to-end technical and user experience workflows across product domains
  • Identify gaps, inconsistencies, and dependencies across systems and teams
  • Partner with Product Management and Design to document current-state and future-state workflows

Internal Workflow & Workaround Identification

  • Collaborate with Onboarding, Customer Success, Support, Operations, and Engineering to uncover product workarounds
  • Document root causes, frequency, and business impact of workarounds
  • Support evaluation of opportunities for product enhancements or automation

Backlog Management & Execution Support

  • Translate documented gaps into clear backlog items, technical tasks, and acceptance criteria
  • Ensure backlog items are scoped, prioritized, and ready for development

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as a connective layer between Product, Engineering, Design, and customer-facing teams
  • Improve shared understanding of platform behavior and product workflows
  • Proactively communicate discoveries and recommendations to stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 years of experience as a product owner, preferably in a SaaS environment
  • Solid understanding of the product lifecycle
  • Demonstrated success managing cross-functional software delivery in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong technical aptitude and experience working with platform or infrastructure teams
  • Ability to document complex technical systems and workflows clearly
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized and comfortable working in ambiguous environments
  • Preferred: background or experience in property management accounting

Total monthly compensation:

$3,000 - $3,300 USD
