Treasury Analyst

Enviva is seeking to add a Treasury Analyst to join the Treasury Team.  This person will be integral to Enviva’s treasury and financial operations with core responsibilities for: global cash management and reporting activities, treasury operations analysis and oversight, insurance, and risk management, and assisting in the implementation of large-scale treasury projects.  

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily day-to-day cash disbursement, reconciliation, planning, and preparation of draw / repayment / continuation / conversion of borrowing under Enviva’s credit facilities. 
  • Work with the Accounts Payable team to ensure accuracy of payments and to minimize errors.  
  • Assist with bank account opening and closing, banking documentation, and enhancing existing account opening, administrative, and operational processes.  
  • Assist in the documentation of critical cash and liquidity management processes.  
  • Support the credit risk management function, including performing credit analysis for customers, suppliers, contractors, and other counterparties. 
  • Assist in managing Enviva’s insurance portfolio, including day-to-day insurance program administration, annual insurance renewals, placement of builder’s risk and other insurance policies, and insurance claims management.  
  • Interact with Controller’s function to ensure proper accounting of treasury transactions and assist in managing the SOX compliance processes. 
  • Participate in special projects as needed.  

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or similar field required.  
  • Minimum of two years of hands-on work experience in Treasury operations or similar field  
  • Strong proficiency using Excel is a must as well as proficiency in Word and PowerPoint   
  • Demonstrate strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills  
  • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines  
  • Ability to keep confidential information private  
  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation a plus  
  • Access and Bloomberg experience a plus  
  • Experiences with cash and liquidity management, credit/risk management, and/or insurance preferred 

Working Conditions

  • Must be able to work in outdoor environments and occasionally in temperatures above 100 degrees and below 32 degrees 
  • Willing and able to work in a hot, humid, cold and noisy industrial environment 
  • Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipment.

Physical Requirements

  • Willing and able to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day
  • Willing and able to work around moving equipment and machinery
  • Willing and able to pull and lift, up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.

The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, education, training, etc.

Salary Range

$78,900 - $97,700 USD
