Materials Coordinator

The Materials Coordinator is responsible for planning, receiving, storage and distribution of all supplies used in operating and maintaining the plant.
Responsibilities
- Process incoming goods to include receipt, unpacking, storage and distribution.
- Attend counter enquiries and issue materials as requested.
- Conduct purchases for the site on spare parts and consumable items
- Maintain accurate inventory records within EAM system. Assist with invoice verification
- Develop working relationship with vendors and repair shops to efficiently schedule parts delivery and repairs.
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills in hydraulics, lubrication, and mechanical equipment; basic understanding of types of lubricants and application of each.
- Read technical diagrams and schematics.
- Operate mobile equipment (forklift, Lull, etc.)
- Successful completion of training as required by Supervisor and specified by Enviva.
- Additional related duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
- At least two (2) years' experience in parts, inventory, logistics or manufacturing environment.
- Strong verbal and written skills.
- Thorough knowledge of all MS Office, Windows including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Valid Driver’s License
Preferred Qualifications - What Sets You Apart
- High School diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree a plus.
- Strong knowledge of industrial parts and equipment used in manufacturing.
- Deep understanding of maintenance practices and time required for parts delivery.
- Experience with computerized maintenance management system a plus.
Working Conditions
- Must be able to work in outdoor environments and occasionally in temperatures above 100 degrees and below 32 degrees
- Willing and able to work in a hot, humid, cold and noisy industrial environment
- Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipment.
Physical Requirements
- Willing and able to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day
- Willing and able to work around moving equipment and machinery
- Willing and able to pull and lift, up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
