Treasury Analyst

Enviva is seeking to add a Treasury Analyst to join the Treasury Team. This person will be integral to Enviva’s treasury and financial operations with core responsibilities to include global cash management including FX and reporting activities, treasury operations analysis and oversight, insurance and risk management, and assisting in the implementation of strategic treasury projects.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily day-to-day cash management including disbursement, daily cash report, reconciliation, planning, and preparation of draw requests/borrowing under Enviva’s credit facilities.
- Work with the Accounts Payable team to ensure accuracy/timing of payments, manual wires.
- Assist with bank account opening and closing, banking documentation, letters of credit and surety bond issuances along with FX hedging transactions.
- Assist in the documentation of critical cash and liquidity management processes.
- Support the credit risk management function, including performing credit analysis for customers, suppliers and other counterparties.
- Assist in managing Enviva’s insurance portfolio, including day-to-day insurance program administration, COI requests, annual insurance renewals and insurance claims management.
- Interact with Accounting to ensure proper accounting of treasury transactions and assist in managing the SOX compliance processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or similar field required.
- Minimum of two years of hands-on work experience in Treasury operations or similar field
- Strong proficiency using Excel is a must as well as proficiency in Word and PowerPoint
- Demonstrate strong analytical, quantitative, communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently under tight deadlines
Preferred Qualifications - What Will Set You Apart
- Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation a plus
- Microsoft D365 and Bloomberg experience a plus
- Experiences with cash and liquidity management, credit/risk management, and/or insurance preferred
Travel requirements
- Expected to be in Bethesda, MD office up to 3 days a week.
- Minimal business travel
Physical Requirements
- Primarily computer-based work requiring extended periods of sitting at a computer, typing, but may also including standing, walking, carrying, or lifting (up to 50 lbs.) in support of team tasks.

The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, education, training, etc.
Salary Range
$80,280 - $93,660 USD
