About the role
The Enterprise Integrations Platform team is responsible for envisioning, architecting, and driving Envoy’s long-term vision for success in integrating with large-scale vendors. This team is responsible for the backend platform and services that enable the creation of the future of buildable integrations. The team’s focus areas include making architectural decisions to ensure the integration platform is secure and reliable, solving scaling issues and optimizing performance, and improving the internal developer experience through an ever-evolving platform SDK.
This onsite position requires 4 days a week (Monday-Thursday) in our San Francisco HQ office.
You will
- Stand up new services that improve the safety, reliability, and accuracy of our access control systems
- Examine, improve, and challenge the existing modalities of how we manage ACS today
- Collaborate with team members to bounce ideas off each other and see delivery of value to customers from start to finish
- Design MVPs with strong technical foundations, and iterate on them with product feedback
You have
- 8+ years of software engineering experience or coding experience
- BS / MS in Computer Science or a related technical field
- Created and supported APIs (REST, JSON/HTTP, GraphQL)
- Typescript or Kotlin development experience in writing, maintaining, and debugging code in a production environment.
- Domain knowledge such as message queues, sharding, auto scaling, and access patterns
- Strong technical foundations for patterns and anti-patterns in software engineering
- An inner product champion who takes pride in knowing and planning what great can look like, not just good

Compensation description
Envoy's compensation package includes a market-competitive salary, equity for all full-time roles, and great benefits. If you are located in San Francisco Bay Area, our expected cash compensation for this role is $250K- $265K (Annually). Final offers may vary within the provided range, depending on experience, expertise, and other factors.
