Finance Assistant

Envoy Global has an opening within our charismatic and driven Finance team for a Finance Assistant to join us on a full time, permanent basis. The Finance Assistant plays a key part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of accounts receivable processes. Responsibilities include managing global transactions, processing incoming payments, maintaining accurate accounts receivable records, and enhancing our revenue processes. You will be the key liaison between our customers and our internal teams.
This role does require 1 day a week in person at our Bromley or London office.
As our Finance Assistant you will be required to:
- Posting bank and refund transactions
- Identifying refunds and arranging transfers to clients
- Preparation of bank and refund reconciliations for monthly close
- Accounts Receivable invoice creation and posting
- Assist in case management system implementation
- Processing of payments in weekly pay run
- Contact customers regarding late payments and maintain an efficient system to track payments
- Assist with other finance tasks, and with ad hoc projects as/when the need arises
- Working with account managers and consultants on client queries
- Assist the Senior Finance Manager with daily bank administration, online banking
- Improving processes and control environment in AR and Refunds
To apply for this role, you should possess the following skills, experience and qualifications:
- High School/bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in a transactional accounting (AP, AR) role
- Strong proficiency with Excel confidence with managing an intuitive visa case management system
- Experience in Sage beneficial
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Capacity to work in fast paced environment
- Proven track record of transaction postings and reconciliations
- Excellent time management, organization, and multi-tasking abilities
- Ability to thrive with minimal supervision and direction
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others and to operate as a team player
- Willingness to accept responsibility and show good judgment, initiative, and resourcefulness
- Strong desire to learn and excel in dynamic growing practice

ANNUAL SALARY RANGE : £30,000- £40,000
