We are a growing fintech looking to add an experienced Compliance Business Analyst to our Client Operations team in Chennai, India!
As a Compliance Business Analyst, you'll be responsible for ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulations, identifying potential risks, and implementing effective compliance programs, while also analysing data and providing recommendations for improvement.
The Compliance Business Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring the organization's compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. This position involves analysing data, identifying potential risks, developing and implementing compliance programs, and providing recommendations for improvement.
What you’ll be responsible for in this role:
- Compliance Monitoring and Assessment:
- Monitor organizational activities and processes to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Identify potential compliance risks and issues.
- Conduct compliance reviews and audits.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and potential compliance issues.
- Prepare reports and presentations summarizing compliance findings and recommendations.
- Track and monitor compliance metrics.
- Compliance Program Development and Implementation:
- Assist in the development and implementation of compliance programs and procedures.
- Develop and deliver compliance training programs.
- Stay informed about changes in laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Communicate compliance requirements and expectations to relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other departments to address compliance issues.
- Maintain strong working relationships with regulatory agencies and external auditors.
- Other Duties:
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Compliance Manager/Officer.
What experiences and skills are necessary to be successful in this role:
- Bachelor's/Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration) or equivalent experience.
- 2-3 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Certifications: Relevant compliance certifications (e.g., Certified Compliance Professional) are a plus.
