Here is how the M&I Technician role will impact our business:
As an M&I Technician, you will be expected to maintain / calibrate all electrical components of onsite equipment. You will safely perform routine work assignments and follow corporate safety policy and department work procedures.
The M&I Technician responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Works under supervision and relies on instructions and departmental expectations to perform the duties of the job
- Performs routine work assignments within the field M&I department
- Performs routine scheduled calibrations and testing on measurement and Instrumentation equipment.
- Relies on others for troubleshooting issues that may be identified
- Assists in the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of communications related to M&I devices
- Demonstrates good teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrates professional conduct and ethics
Required Experience and Skills:
- 2+ years of experience in a related field or industry
- High School Diploma or GED (2 yr. Associates Degree in Electronics or similar field preferred)
- Basic computer skills and effective application of software programs
- Ability to contribute in a team environment
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to think analytically and solve basic problems
This role is covered under PHMSA / FMCSA regulations.
Selected incumbent will be placed into the position that best suits their abilities and experience level.
