Here is how the Engineer - Project Management role will impact our business:
The Engineer II/III/IV/Sr - Project Management will be responsible for the successful execution of Capital Maintenance and Operational Expenditure (OPEX) projects within the Midstream organization. This role primarily supports projects focusing on storage maintenance and compression budget alignment but will also provide opportunities to participate in other focal areas to leverage the candidate’s skillset.
The Engineer II/III/IV/Sr - Project Management responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide overall project management of multi-disciplinary engineering support across a range of midstream assets, including compressor stations, pipelines, metering sites, and water handling systems.
- Lead teams who develop, review, and implement engineering designs, technical reports, and construction packages for capital and maintenance projects.
- Work with operations, construction, and EHS teams in managing technical issues and implementing corrective actions.
- Support field investigations and execute technical solutions related to:
- Maintenance capital improvements.
- Facility Construction and upgrade activities.
- Electrical infrastructure assessments and system improvements.
- Landslide remediation projects.
- Storage projects.
- Compliance and EH&S projects.
- Assist Compression team with budget alignment (forecasting, accruals, and reporting).
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards (e.g., OSHA, DOT, PHMSA, NEC).
- Contribute to cross-functional project teams and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Experience and Skills:
- 3+ years’ experience in related field or industry.
- Bachelor's degree in chemical, civil, electrical, mechanical, or petroleum engineering.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Intermediate computer skills and effective application of software programs.
- Experience with midstream capital project execution, including design, permitting, and construction support.
- Ability to contribute to a team environment and as an individual contributor.
- Effective communication skills in both oral and written form, including technical writing.
- Knowledge of intermediate engineering concepts, fundamentals and theory.
- Ability to think analytically and solve moderately complex problems.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of time to field locations within southwestern Pennsylvania, NCWV, and Ohio.
- Detail oriented and highly organized.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in managing multi disciplines for Natural Gas, Utility or Petro Chemical Industries.
- 4+ years’ experience with project management.
- Professional license preferred.
- Salesforce experience.
- Budget management understanding.
Work Location:
This position is based in the Waynesburg, PA area and includes a hybrid work arrangement, combining office-based work, remote collaboration, and regular field support across the asset footprint.
Selected incumbent will be placed into the position that best suits their abilities and experience level.
