Here is how the Production Operator role will impact our business:
As a Production Operator, you will safely coordinate the operation and maintenance activities for natural gas related facilities, pipelines and associated appurtenances and equipment.
The Production Operator responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintains a safe operating environment; follows all applicable policies and procedures, proficient in natural gas related skills, knowledgeable of operational standards.
- May perform other duties as directed by supervisor.
- Takes lead role on assignments.
- Assists with planning and operation of well pad facilities and/or pipelines.
- Ability to work in conjunction with contractors, inspectors, and internal personnel to meet safety, cost, and schedule requirements.
- Assists others in ensuring that all work complies with EQT operational Standards and applicable Federal and environmental regulations.
- Assists in the development of project plans with emphasis on operational, schedule and costs. Work with EQT Land, Environmental, Procurement and Engineering teams.
- Complete 100% work in Maximo
- Works with others to create and maintain project specific documentation during and following completion of the job.
Required Experience and Skills:
- 1+ years of experience in a related field or industry
- High School Diploma or GED
- Able to contribute to a team environment
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to accurately complete all associated documentation
- Ability to think analytically and solve moderately complex problems
- Basic computer skills and effective application of software programs
- Ability to pass a physical capabilities test (which includes but is not limited to lifting and carrying 70 lbs., walking 1/2 mile at various inclines, etc.) necessary to demonstrate the physical ability to perform the essential functions of this job
- Willingness to work in an outdoor environment
- Able to work on-call and off shift rotation as dictated by schedule
This role is covered under PHMSA / FMCSA regulations.
Selected incumbent will be placed into the position that best suits their abilities and experience level.
