What You'll Be Doing:

The Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Content Specialist is responsible for developing executing, optimizing, and managing organic search initiatives that increases visibility, drives qualified traffic, and supports business growth. This role advances the organization’s organic growth strategy through hands-on keyword research, on-page optimization, content development, and performance analysis.

This role blends data-informed SEO strategy with persuasive copywriting and brand storytelling. In addition to driving organic performance, the SEO Content Specialist contributes to high-impact marketing copy across digital channels—including email campaigns, marketing collateral, and webpages—ensuring messaging is clear, compelling, and conversion-oriented.

All content must be strategically aligned, performance-driven, clinically accurate (if applicable), and consistent with brand voice.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • SEO Strategy & Execution
    • Conduct keyword research using tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Google Search Console.
    • Identify search intent and map keywords to audience journey stages.
    • Support development and maintenance of the SEO content roadmap.
    • Optimize existing website content to improve rankings, CTR, and user engagement.
    • Implement on-page SEO best practices (metadata, internal linking, schema markup, header hierarchy).
    • Monitor site performance in GA4 and Search Console to identify growth opportunities.
    • Partner with web and analytics teams to support technical SEO initiatives.
    • Conduct content audits to identify optimization and consolidation opportunities.
    • Monitor and report on organic rankings, traffic, engagement metrics, and conversion rates.
    • Stay informed on algorithm updates and evolving SEO best practices.
    • Identify backlink acquisition opportunities in collaboration with Professional Relations (PR) or outreach teams.
  • Content Strategy & Copywriting
    • Write and optimize SEO-driven blog posts, service pages, and long-form educational content.
    • Refresh and update existing content to improve rankings and engagement.
    • Develop clear, persuasive copy for campaigns including email marketing, social posts, landing pages, and promotional initiatives.
    • Craft brand-forward messaging that articulates value propositions, differentiators, and audience pain points.
    • Translate complex clinical or technical subject matter into empathetic, accessible messaging.
    • Collaborate with content and digital teams on content strategy, relevance and impact
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and authority.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school Diploma or GED
  • 2-4 years of hands on SEO and content marketing experience
  • Demonstrated experience improving keyword rankings and organic traffic
  • Working knowledge of on-page SEO and foundational technical SEO concepts
  • Experience using SEO and analytic tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search, Concole, GA4)
  • Ability to pivot quickly and adapt to shifting priorities, deadlines, and business initiatives
  • Ability to interpret performance data and recommend actionable improvements
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and welcomes feedback to continuously improve performance

Bonus Qualities:

  • Bachelors Degree- (preferred)
  • A passion for or interest in mental health- (preferred)

Location & Schedule:

This position is posted as remote, but Denver, CO applicants are preferred and will be prioritized for interviews. In alignment with company policy, candidates who reside within a 35-mile radius of ZIP code 80230 will be expected to work a hybrid schedule:

  • Remote: Mondays and Fridays
  • On-site: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays

The compensation range for this position is based upon candidate experience and market expectations. 

Colorado pay range

$65,000 - $75,000 USD
