What you’ll be doing
The Clinical Response Team Manager at Eating Recovery Center and Pathlight Mood and Anxiety plays a crucial role in supporting the Response Team, which directly engages with individuals and families seeking care for eating disorders and mood and anxiety disorders. This role is essential to our mission, guiding and developing the Response Team to ensure a compassionate, efficient admissions process. The Clinical Response Team Manager is responsible for leading departmental goals, overseeing daily operations, and collaborating with key leaders to enhance admissions services and improve the overall patient experience. The manager will also provide leadership support when the Director is PTO\Leave.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Admissions Strategy & Planning: Develop, implement, and oversee Response Team strategies to meet patient admission goals in alignment with the ERC PL mission, vision and values. Strategize with the Director and other key admissions leaders to identify opportunities to improve departmental functions and enhance the patient experience.
- Team Management & Development: Lead and mentor the Response Team, providing training, support, and resources to ensure professional and compassionate interactions. Conduct monthly 1:1 meeting with direct reports to provide feedback, discuss performance, and support career development. Collaborate with the Quality Management team to train and support Response Team staff in addressing quality concerns. Oversee and manage team schedules, ensuring consistent department coverage while supporting a balanced work environment, including managing PTO to ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained.
- Daily Operations & Support: Monitor patient contact channels (e.g., phone, email, webform, fax, etc.) daily to ensure timely responses and effective handling of patient inquiries. Provide backup support during high-volume times, assisting the admissions team to maintain high-quality service and minimize response times.
- Patient Support & Engagement: Ensure that the Response Team provides compassionate and supportive experience for patients and families from the initial inquiry to assessment. Support the Response Team through the Quality Program by providing empathetic, informed interactions with patients, families, and providers by helping them make confident decisions about treatment.
- Data Management & Reporting: Reviews daily admissions metrics, including inquiry volumes, conversion rates, and other KPIs. Utilize data to continuously improve the department. Prepare reports on Response Team activities and trends for Director, identifying opportunities for improvement.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelors Degree in Healthcare Administration, Psychology, Social Work, Business or a related field – REQUIRED
- Graduate Degree in Healthcare Administration, Psychology, Social Work, Business or a related field – (Preferred)
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in admissions, healthcare management, or a related field.
- 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in admission, call center, healthcare, or behavioral health related environment.
- Proven experience managing team performance and meeting operational or conversion goals.
Location & Schedule:
- Remote: Mondays and Fridays
- On-site in our Denver Office: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
The compensation range for this position is based upon candidate experience and market expectations.
Colorado pay range
$55,000 - $85,000 USD
