What you’ll be doing
The Digital Experience Manager is entrusted with the oversight, performance, and ongoing improvement of our entire digital ecosystem. This role goes beyond execution — it requires strategic thinking, technical leadership, high attention to detail, and deep ownership of outcomes across the digital experience to make a meaningful impact on our organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ownership Headless CMS
- Serve as primary owner and subject matter expert of our Headless CMS (Storyblok).
- Architect and maintain scalable content models, components, and workflows.
- Partner with Content and Marketing teams to ensure flexible, reusable, and future-proof content structures.
- Maintain governance standards for publishing, versioning, permissions, and content integrity.
- Ensure clean separation between content, presentation, and business logic.
- Front-End Development & Technical Execution
- Lead front-end development using React / Next.js.
- Maintain fluency in HTML5, CSS3 (including modern layout systems), and component-driven architecture.
- Build scalable, reusable components aligned with our design system.
- Ensure responsive, accessible, mobile-first development standards.
- Optimize for performance, accessibility (WCAG), and SEO best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain high standards through GitHub workflows.
- Agile Delivery & Engineering Process
- Operate within Agile methodologies (sprint planning, standups, retrospectives).
- Manage tickets, bugs, and feature work through Project Management and Ticketing Platform.
- Maintain clean version control and branch strategy within GitHub.
- Document technical decisions and maintain clarity in acceptance criteria.
- Communicate blockers early and clearly.
- Quality Assurance & Release Governance
- Ensure all features are tested across browsers and physical devices.
- Implement structured QA and regression testing processes.
- Prevent recurring issues such as:
- Broken components or links
- Rendering inconsistencies
- CMS misconfigurations
- Accessibility violations
- Identification and Flagging of incomplete or incorrect optimization of assets
- Performance regressions
- Own post-launch-monitoring and issue resolution
- Performance & Optimization
- Own Core Web Vitals, mobile page seed, uptime, and overall site reliability.
- Regularly audit and optimize:
- Front-end bundle size
- Image and asset delivery
- CMS API calls
- Caching strategies
- Partner and DevOps/IT as needed to maintain infrastructure stability.
- Support A/B testing and analytics implementation.
- Strategic Technical Leadership
- Provide forward-thinking recommendations on tech stack evolution.
- Identify opportunities for automation, scalability, and performance gains.
- Influence cross-functional planning with confident, informed technical insight.
- Proactively identify risks before they impact delivery timelines.
- Contribute to roadmap discussions with both technical and business context.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Marketing, IT, Clinical and Corporate stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Maintain proactive communication regarding timelines, risks, and dependencies.
- Demonstrate initiative and solution-oriented thinking — not just task completion.
EDUCATION:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computing Related Field or Equivalent - REQUIRED
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- CSS3
- HTML5
- Knowledge of modern frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time with occasional nights and weekends.
Location & Schedule:
- Remote: Mondays and Fridays
- On-site in our Denver Office: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
The compensation range for this position is based upon candidate experience and market expectations.
Colorado pay range
$78,200 - $97,700 USD
