What you’ll be doing:
The Virtual Psychologist conducts individual and group therapy (adults, children and adolescents) on topics such as mood, anxiety, stress and eating disorders; conducts family therapy and/or family education sessions; develops each patient’s individualized treatment plan; and works with interdisciplinary treatment team to implement the plan. All sessions are conducted within a HIPAA compliant telehealth platform, following established protocols. This position is remote.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Conducts individual psychotherapy, group therapy and family therapy
- For each patient on case load, complete clinical paperwork and administrative tasks including:
- Treatment plans
- Individual and Family Therapy progress notes and group notes
- Aftercare plan
- Discharge summary
- Regular communication with patient's outpatient community provider(s)
- Conducts comprehensive assessments and treatment planning for each patient on case load:
- Completes psychosocial, self-harm, pain and suicide assessments
- Creates individualized treatment plans with specific and measurable goals in collaboration with treatment team members
- Creates therapeutic treatment agreements or behavioral support plans as needed
- Holds therapeutic team meeting with patient to address any concerns, if needed
- Attends treatment team meetings and treatment team rounds to coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary team
- May provide training and guidance to less experienced teammates
Must haves:
- Doctorate of Psychology (PsyD) or Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) in Psychology from an APA Accredited program
- Currently a licensed Psychologist residing in a Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact (PsyPact) State
- Passed Examination for Professional Practice in Psychology (EPPP)
- Minimum 2-4 years' experience conducting psychotherapy
- Ability to move from one group assignment, line of service, and/or ages served to the next with ease – flexibility
- Collaborative nature, strong communication - multi-disciplinary team
- Engaging and skilled in navigating video interactions
- Familiarity with or ability to easily and quickly learn required technology including a video meeting platform, EMHR, and other computer programs
This range is dependent upon candidate's state of residence, experience and market expectations.
Virtual Pay Range
$90,000 - $130,000 USD
