About this Job

As our IQC and Rework Technician, you will

Incoming Quality Control (IQC):

  • Inspect incoming materials, components and sub-assemblies according to IPC standards.
  • Maintain records and report findings.
  • Collaborate to resolve quality issues.

Rework and PCB Repair:

  • Rework and repair PCBs using IPC standards.
  • Perform Rework PCBAs with various fine pitch packages 0402, 0201 and common IC package types include DIP, SOP, QFP.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve PCB issues.
  • Test reworked PCBs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

General Responsibilities:

  • Follow safety protocols.
  • Collaborate to resolve production issues.
  • Participate in continuous improvement.
  • Maintain equipment.

Qualities of a Successful Candidate

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • IPC-A-610 and IPC-7711/7721 certification.
  • Experience in IQC and PCB rework.
  • Knowledge of soldering and rework processes.
  • Ability to read technical drawings.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication and teamwork skills.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience with QMS or ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with RF technologies.
  • Additional IPC certifications.

Salary Range

Given our anticipated growth, we are open to hiring individuals with varying levels of experience to fill this role. Compensation will be commensurate with job-related skills, experience and other relevant factors. The hourly range for the primary location of this role is between $30.00 and $40.00 plus stock options and benefits.
