About the role
Espirita is seeking compassionate, resilient, and experienced Registered Nurses to join dedicated teams at state-run inpatient psychiatric hospitals in Fort Logan (Denver) and Pueblo, Colorado, on a three-year contract.
In this role, you’ll provide direct care to patients with complex mental health needs, including those diagnosed with personality disorders, within secure and therapeutic inpatient settings. You’ll work alongside psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other professionals to deliver recovery-focused, trauma-informed care that supports long-term stability and wellbeing.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver safe, evidence-based psychiatric nursing care in accordance with facility protocols
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses
- Support crisis intervention, de-escalation, and behavioral management strategies
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and progress
- Promote patient engagement, dignity, and therapeutic relationships
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- NCLEX-RN successfully passed (or NCLEX study in progress as a minimum)
- English proficiency (certification or native fluency)
- Minimum 24 months of recent acute or mental health nursing experience
- Willingness to relocate to Colorado for a minimum of 3 years
