Key Responsibilities
As a Physical Therapist in Connecticut, you will:
- Conduct detailed assessments of patients’ physical conditions and limitations.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to restore movement and reduce pain.
- Utilize therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and rehabilitation equipment.
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with Connecticut’s clinical and regulatory standards.
- Stay current with continuing education and best practices in physical therapy.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Active or eligible for Connecticut State PT licensure.
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Physical stamina and dexterity for hands-on therapy.
- A compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
Requirements
- Valid PT license or eligibility to obtain licensure in Connecticut.
- Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Proficiency in English (IELTS/OET/PTE/TOEFL may be required for international applicants).
- Willingness to relocate and adapt to the U.S. healthcare environment.
