About the Role
Midwives will support women and families through pregnancy, labour, birth, and postnatal care across hospital and community settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care
• Monitor maternal and fetal wellbeing
• Support safe and informed birthing experiences
• Educate families on newborn care and recovery
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Midwifery or equivalent
• AHPRA registration (or eligibility)
• English language proficiency
• Minimum 24 months of recent acute care experience
• Willingness to relocate to Canberra for at least 3 years

What ACT Health Offers:

• Salary: $72,000–$87,000 AUD (based on experience)
