cBEYONData a subsidiary of SMX and is seeking an AI Portfolio & Delivery Analyst to directly support the Government AI Lead as a trusted advisor in managing a rapidly growing portfolio of AI initiatives. This role will focus on building visibility, structure, and execution discipline across agency AI-related projects in various stages of maturity. The individual will help the Government AI Lead understand the current landscape, assess which efforts should continue, and support the establishment of governance, reporting, and accountability mechanisms across the portfolio. This is a hands-on delivery and coordination role with strong operational, analytics, and stakeholder coordination experience in a high-tempo DoD environment. This role is onsite in Quantico, VA or Hanover, MD.  

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support the Government AI Lead in establishing and maintaining a centralized view of all AI initiatives across the organization
  • Build and maintain portfolio-level tracking of project status, readiness, schedules, risks, and dependencies
  • Coordinate with project teams, engineers, vendors, and government stakeholders to collect accurate delivery and performance data
  • Support assessment of AI initiatives to help identify:
    • Delivery readiness
    • Execution risks
    • Data, infrastructure, and security gaps
  • Prepare portfolio briefings, dashboards, and decision support materials for government leadership
  • Assist with the development of lightweight governance and oversight processes for AI initiatives (status reporting, reviews, and escalation paths)
  • Track schedule, deployment activity, and operational readiness across multiple parallel efforts
  • Support documentation and standard operating procedures for AI portfolio management
  • Facilitate communication between technical teams, program offices, and leadership

Required Skills & Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Analytics, Engineering, or related field
  • 1–3 years of professional experience supporting technology programs, deployments, or operational delivery efforts
  • Demonstrated experience supporting large, multi-site or multi-team technical deployments
  • Experience coordinating schedules, stakeholders, engineering resources, and logistics in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated experience developing operational dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Excel, or similar
  • Experience working with Jira or similar ticketing / workflow platforms
  • Ability to communicate clearly with technical teams and government stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and data management skills
  • Active TS/SCI clearance

Desired Skills & Experience 

  • Exposure to cloud platforms, infrastructure deployments, or enterprise IT environments
  • Familiarity with Agile or delivery operations concepts
  • Experience supporting federal customers or DoD programs
  • Experience supporting portfolio-level reporting or multi-project coordination
  • SQL or data analysis experience

Certifications (Preferred but Not Required)

  • Agile or delivery certifications (Scrum, Kanban, ICAgile, or similar)
  • Cloud fundamentals certifications
