Senior CFO Control Tower Solution Architect (5086)

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Solution Architect with a minimum of 8 years of experience in the data analytics field, managing the technical architecture of complex systems. The ideal candidate should also possess experience in supporting SAP Technology stack system like SAP SAC, SAP HANA Database, SAP BusinessObjects and SAP Data Services. As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will lead the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of SAP products within AWS and/or Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring its performance, security, and availability to support our organization's critical business operations.  You will also be tasked with designing agile solutions with various data integration points involved flat files, API Endpoints so as to further enrich the financial management system. This is a remote position supporting a Washington DC based customer.

Job Description:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement high-availability and disaster recovery solutions for CFO Control Tower implementations.
  • Monitor and ensure the health, performance, and security of databases by diagnosing and resolving technical issues, performance bottlenecks, and connectivity problems, while optimizing configurations.
  • Implement and manage database backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data integrity and availability, including routine backups, restoration tests, and disaster recovery drills, while coordinating system recoveries.
  • Maintain and enhance database security by implementing access controls, encryption, and compliance with industry regulations and organizational policies.
  • Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as system updates, patches, and performance tuning, to optimize the performance of databases and ensure seamless operations.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, including installation procedures, configuration guides, and operational runbooks.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts during critical incidents, providing timely resolutions and root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences, collaborating closely with all teams.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior system administrators and other team members, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
  • Stay current with the latest SAP HANA releases, updates, and industry best practices, evaluating their impact on on the performance of all operations.
  • Lead and foster interdepartmental collaboration on secure transit of enrichment data into the financial management system.
  • Lead and foster best team development and performance enhancement practices around formal SAP technology stack but also informal code stacks like PowerShell, Python, Java and Javascript.
Required Skills:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in system administration, including system installations, upgrades, patches, and promotions.
  • Ability to obtain U.S. government security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
  • Proficiency in landscape design, system configuration, and integration with applications.
  • Solid expertise in performance tuning, system monitoring, and proactive maintenance activities.
  • Strong understanding of security concepts, including user provisioning, authorization concepts, and SAP security notes application.
  • Experience in scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for system automations as well as data enrichment integration.
  • Exposure to cloud-based SAP deployments (e.g., AWS, Azure) and their implications for SAP HANA, BusinessObjects and/or Data Services operations is a plus.

$148,200 - $231,400 USD
