About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to play a key role in our high-performing central tax function, supporting Essor’s global operations. Reporting to the Tax Director, you will contribute to both direct and indirect tax matters, support wider tax projects, enhance risk management, and drive process automation.

What you will do:
Tax Compliance & Reporting
- Lead Essor’s global direct tax compliance, working closely with external advisors to ensure accurate and timely tax filings and payments across multiple jurisdictions.
- Assist with year-end group consolidation, coordinating with external advisors in various countries.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for tax accounts across the group.
Transfer Pricing & Advisory
- Support transfer pricing calculations and invoicing, ensuring compliance with international tax regulations.
- Identify efficiencies, opportunities, and risks within current tax operations and processes.
- Provide in-house tax consultancy to internal teams, supporting decision-making with expert tax insights.
Process Improvement & Expansion
- Assist in implementing compliance processes for new jurisdictions and acquisitions as Essor scales.
- Support automation and technology-driven improvements within the tax function.
- Contribute to ad-hoc tax projects, helping to drive strategic tax initiatives.
Who You Are
- ACCA, ACA, or CTA qualified with at least 3 years post-qualification experience.
- Strong expertise in international tax and experience working with multinational groups.
- Proven ability to manage tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
- Highly organized with impeccable attention to detail and an analytical mindset.
- Confident in working autonomously, taking ownership of projects, and improving processes.
- Skilled in data analysis, drawing meaningful conclusions, and making informed recommendations.
- Positive attitude, transparent and reliable, with a passion for working in an international environment.
- Bonus: Experience in e-commerce and marketplace retail.
- Bonus: Experience using NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
