About the role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic International Distributor Sales Manager to develop and scale our international distributor infrastructure across multiple brands. This role requires a business-owner mindset with a balance of operational excellence and front-end account management. The ideal candidate will drive international revenue growth by managing existing distributors while building an optimized operational infrastructure to support long-term expansion.
 
What you will do:

Infrastructure Development & Management

  • Build and optimize backend infrastructure to support international distributor expansion.
  • Oversee key operational processes, including demand planning, order processing, and vendor setup to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  • Partner with finance, logistics, and supply chain teams to create seamless order fulfillment workflows for international markets.

Front-End Account Management

  • Identify and secure new international distributor partnerships to drive global revenue growth.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with existing distributors, providing strategic guidance and support.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for international distributors, ensuring goal alignment and seamless execution of sales strategies.

Tradeshow Leadership

  • Lead Essor’s presence at key industry tradeshows to showcase brands and uncover new international distribution opportunities.
  • Represent Essor’s portfolio in a professional and engaging manner, driving visibility and brand awareness.

Collaboration with U.S. Sales Team

  • Maintain a strong connection with the U.S. sales team to align on channel dynamics and ensure cohesive global strategy execution.
  • Share market insights and distributor feedback to refine cross-regional strategies and maximize performance.

Travel & Market Presence

  • Regular travel across the EU and UK to engage with distributors, attend events, and gather market insights to enhance sales strategy.

Who you are:

  • Proven experience in international sales, distribution management, or account management, preferably within the consumer goods industry.
  • Ability to manage and scale a $5MM+ revenue portfolio while driving sustained growth.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in backend operations such as demand planning and order processing.
  • Business-owner mindset with a proactive, problem-solving approach.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools is a plus but not required.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with peaks and valleys.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and cultures.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the EU and UK.
