About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and strategic Launch & NPD Associate Brand Manager to help shape our brands’ innovation pipeline in partnership with NPD Managers, while also driving the successful introduction of new products on Amazon.
In this role, you will foster ownership, agility, and proactive collaboration within the team. The ideal candidate will bring strong market insight, develop effective launch strategies, and execute with precision to ensure impactful product launches.
What you will do:
- Prepare, Understand, & Align:
- Analyze markets and identify product development opportunities for our top brands within the Consumables BU.
- Prepare and participate in Lock meetings to share the Unique Selling Proposition (USP), market landscape, potential, and performance baseline.
- Work hand in hand and report to the Product Development (PD) manager to find the best sales approach for each product.
- Collaborate with the Brand Management (BM) team to analyze the launch impact and align on strategic objectives.
Plan & Strategize:
- Work closely with our content team to highlight the product’s USP effectively across the main image, gallery images, titles, bullet points, A+ content, and product descriptions.
- Communicate regularly with the Supply Chain team to ensure stock availability and prevent shortages.
- Build a robust launch strategy including pricing, variations, Pay-Per-Click (PPC) campaigns, and marketing efforts to maximize visibility and sales.
Execute & Optimize:
- Monitor daily sales performance, ranking, and margin vs. target to ensure the success of new launches.
- Provide daily performance updates to the team and key stakeholders.
- Proactively identify inefficiencies and implement corrective actions
Who you are:
- Excellent analytical abilities to dive into data and generate innovative ideas for product launches that outperform the competition.
- A highly motivated self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. With proven experience in online marketplace product management, e-commerce, or digital marketing.
- Strong understanding of performance management strategies (Pricing, Promotions, PPC, SEO, etc). An agile thinker who can pivot strategies based on real-time data and market conditions.
- Ability to analyze key performance metrics (revenue, margin, ranking, TACoS, ACoS) and make data-driven decisions. Strong analytical and strategic skills to assess product performance and optimize for growth.
- Experience in working with supply chain teams to ensure optimal inventory management.
- Prior experience launching products on online marketplaces would be a plus.
- Nice to have: Prior experience with the Amazon ecosystem.
- A reactive and proactive problem solver who can address challenges swiftly and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills to align teams and drive successful product launches.
