
Senior Associate, Retail Sales

About the role:
The Essor Retail Sales Associate will play a critical role in driving operational excellence and sales growth by managing demand planning, sales order approvals, and providing data-driven insights. This role requires collaboration across teams, strong vendor and customer interaction, and a focus on optimizing retail execution.
What you will do:
Demand Planning & Forecasting
- Manage and analyze demand forecasts to support order accuracy, replenishment needs, and inventory health.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain and vendor partners, to adjust demand plans based on market trends, promotional activity, and sales performance.
- Provide key inputs for account-specific sales projections and ensure timely product availability.
Sales Order Management
- Review and approve sales orders to ensure alignment with forecasts, stock levels, and retailer requirements.
- Monitor open orders, shipment schedules, and delivery timelines, proactively addressing discrepancies.
- Work closely with customers and internal teams to resolve order-related issues and improve fulfillment rates.
Sales Analysis & Reporting
- Conduct regular sales performance analysis by account and product category, identifying trends and opportunities.
- Develop and maintain reports, including weekly and monthly scorecards, that track retail performance metrics such as sell-through, inventory turns, and promotional ROI.
- Prepare presentations and recommendations for internal stakeholders and retail partners based on data-driven insights.
Vendor & Customer Collaboration
- Build strong relationships with key retail and vendor partners, ensuring clear communication and alignment on promotions, launches, and supply chain initiatives.
- Provide vendors with analytical insights on sales performance and in-stock optimization, supporting mutual business growth.
- Educate external partners on Essor’s processes, order requirements, and operational standards.
Promotional and Retail Execution
- Support trade promotions by ensuring correct product availability and alignment with sales forecasts.
- Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams to optimize product placement and shelf visibility at key retail locations.
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
- With 2+ years of experience in retail, CPG, or a related field, with a focus on demand planning, sales operations, or analytics.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data management tools (Excel—pivot tables, VLOOKUPs; experience with forecasting software is a plus).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and proactively solve problems related to demand forecasts and order management.

The estimated salary range for this role is $50- $60K per year. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, and location.
