Content Marketing Manager
The Opportunity
ESW seeks a highly creative Content Marketing Manager to lead all aspects of both strategy and execution of our content marketing efforts. This is a key role within our Marketing team, responsible for crafting compelling content that strengthens our brand, drives engagement across channels, and supports business growth.
Responsibilities
- Content Strategy & Planning: Own the content calendar and strategy aligned to our business goals and target audience. Craft compelling content across the full funnel—awareness to decision.
- Brand Voice: Collaborate with the Director of Brand and content to build a distinctive brand voice that guides all Marketing team activities across various functions.
- Content Creation & Management: Write and produce high-quality content including whitepapers, case studies, blog posts, landing pages, website copy, sales enablement collateral, infographics, video scripts, and more.
- Collaborate with internal subject matter experts, external vendors and design to bring content to life.
- Support Talent Acquisition team with employer branding initiatives.
- SEO & Performance: Optimize all content for SEO and work closely with demand generation to ensure content supports lead generation and conversion goals.
- Thought Leadership: Build our brand voice as a leader in cross-border ecommerce by crafting authoritative, forward-thinking content for enterprise audiences.
- Social media: Manage our social media calendar and content, and work with colleagues across Marketing to ensure key themes and messages are promoted regularly: thought leadership content, events announcements and campaigns, corporate awareness, employer brand, and more.
- PR support: Work with external PR firms to ensure coverage of ESW’s execs, important announcements, and thought leadership position.
- Campaign Support: Partner with product marketing, growth marketing, and sales to support go-to-market launches, ABM programs, and integrated campaigns.
- Analytics & Optimization: Measure content performance across channels, using insights to improve relevance, engagement, and conversion.
Requirements
- 6 - 10 years’ experience crafting effective content in a growing B2B Saas or tech organisation.
- Superior writing and editing ability. Highly creative with a strong interest in storytelling and persuasion.
- Self-motivated, independent and strong stakeholder management skills. Adept at working with executives and other colleagues to tell ESW’s story.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Proficient in SEO tools and principles, the generative AI landscape, and standard methodologies for social media.
- Vendor management, ability to increase the output and impact of support vendors across a number of functions.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Communications, Journalism, English Literature, Marketing, or a related field.
- Native-level proficiency in written and spoken English. Excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Understanding of the standard conventions of British and American English.
- This is a hybrid role: candidates are expected to be in-office in the Dublin area (Swords) 50%.
