Associate Logistics Operations Specialist

The Opportunity

This is a 6-month fixed-term contract within the central operations team in ESW. You will be accountable for the coordination and movement of bulk shipments from global return centres to retailer locations, as well as for the monitoring and management of global return centres.

Role Description / Responsibilities

  • This is a 6-month fixed-term contract within the central operations team in ESW.
  • Answering customer service tickets and liaising with carriers for transit exceptions.
  • Monitor external and internal KPI reporting, defining action plans and escalating issues as they occur.
  • Responsible for the accurate and timely completion of Internal / External KPI reporting.
  • Work with the Team Lead to maintain accurate SOPs for all activities in their designated lanes.
  • Responsible for full package reconciliation to end-of-life.
  • Manage underperforming suppliers, create action plans, and execute them to improve performance.
  • Work on cross-functional projects with other members of the logistics and other teams to continually review the service to clients (retailers and customers).
  • Ensure all activities are managed in a timely fashion and undertake additional administrative tasks to support this function.

Desired Experience:

  • Eager to learn new skills.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with suppliers.
  • Excellent in the use of Microsoft Excel, pivot table data analysis, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to communicate with non-native English speakers, to gather updates and provide training on various tooling and processes.
  • Working knowledge of Supply Chain Management.
  • Ability to work in a team and to show initiative in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible in working hours to meet business demands and changing trends.
  • Dynamic attitude to improve processes and enhance tooling to meet growing business demands.
