Senior Full Stack Engineer (.NET Core + Angular)

The Opportunity

We are looking for Senior .NET Engineers to join our expanding Tech & Product Hub in Madrid. As part of a strategic investment in our technology, we are building new teams to enhance our platform and develop innovative eCommerce products that will shape the future of online shopping.   

In this role, you will work with cutting-edge technologies, designing and developing high-performance, scalable solutions. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to architectural decisions, and follow best practices to ensure the delivery of robust and efficient software. You’re not only technically advanced but also influential in mentorship and strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Drive the development of product features, engaging in requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and post-deployment monitoring and bug fixing.
• Take ownership of problems, propose scalable solutions, and anticipate potential pitfalls before they arise. 
• Think beyond just writing code - consider scalability, security, performance, and maintainability. 
• Collaborate within an Agile environment, contributing to the continuous improvement of ESW's suite of e-commerce products as a valued member of a product team.
• Partner closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and QA Engineers within our dynamic development teams, demonstrating both autonomy and collaboration skills.
• Take on ambitious tasks involving large-scale sophisticated applications and embrace Test Driven Development methodologies.
• Apply your expertise in .Net and Azure development stack to deliver high-quality solutions.

Requirements

• 8+ years commercial experience in Software Development.
• Experience with C# .NET Core and Angular
• Experience with streaming (e.g. Kafka, Service Bus, RabbitMQ, or other similar technologies)
• Experience with Cloud (e.g. Azure, AWS or GCP)
• Excellent communication skills
• Intellectual curiosity, learning agility, and passion for tackling tough problems.
• Solid understanding of software development approaches of an agile nature.
