Job Description:
The Senior Capture Manager at eTelligent is responsible for leading strategic capture efforts on high-priority contracts, ranging from $5M to $100M. The Senior Capture Manager will build and execute capture plans, conduct competitive analyses, and support proposal development activities to ensure successful contract wins.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Capture Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute capture strategies for targeted opportunities, including shaping and positioning eTelligent as a preferred partner. Create capture plans with solicitation summaries, win themes, competitive analysis, pricing strategies, and cost projections.
- Opportunity Identification and Qualification: Proactively identify, qualify, and pursue new Federal Government opportunities that align with eTelligent’s capabilities and growth strategy. Engage with prospective clients to understand needs and build a capture strategy that aligns with client requirements and eTelligent’s strengths.
- Customer and Partner Engagement: Establish relationships with key decision-makers within target agencies to gain insight and increase eTelligent’s understanding of the customer environment. Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to form strategic alliances, including negotiating teaming agreements and statements of work.
- Proposal Development Support: Collaborate with proposal managers and support proposal development efforts by identifying subject matter experts and drafting executive summaries that convey eTelligent’s value proposition. Ensure all capture efforts are aligned with proposal requirements and submission deadlines.
- Market Intelligence and Competitive Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of competitors, market trends, and customer needs to identify and address potential challenges. Provide insight into emerging opportunities and competitor strategies to the capture team and senior leadership.
- Collaboration and Leadership: Act as a motivator and leader for the capture team, guiding colleagues in a collaborative and high-performance environment. Facilitate executive-level discussions and go/no-go reviews to keep capture efforts aligned with company priorities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in capture management with a proven track record of winning Federal Government contracts.
- Deep knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Government procurement processes.
- Strong project management and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated expertise in competitive analysis, pricing strategies, and business development planning.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to develop and execute teaming agreements autonomously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience with capture management in Federal agencies such as IRS, DoD, DHS, GSA, or other civilian agencies.
- Strong technical aptitude and understanding of IT solutions within Government sectors.
Minimum Eligibility: US Citizenship or Permanent Residency for at least three (3) years
