HVA Assessment Lead (AES Certified)

Position Summary:
Candidates with current or prior federal contract experience at DHS, DOT, IRS, or DOD will be strongly preferred. PMP, Security+, and ISO familiarity a plus. Ability to support periodic onsite engagement in DC is expected.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all phases of Non-Tier 1 (NT1) High Value Asset (HVA) cybersecurity assessments per DHS BOD 18-02.
- Act as the Point of Contact with agency stakeholders and CISA HVA PMO during planning, execution, and reporting.
- Ensure Rules of Engagement (ROE), documentation standards, and deliverables are met on schedule.
- Prepare and deliver Kickoff Briefings, Final Reports, and Out Briefs per CISA AES methodology.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current CISA AES Certification as Assessment Lead (AL).
- 5+ years’ experience in federal cybersecurity assessment or audit.
- Strong working knowledge of NIST 800-53, RMF, CSF, and HVA frameworks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Clearance: Must be able to obtain Public Trust or higher.
Location: Remote with ability to travel to Washington, DC as required.
