About the Role

Ethos is seeking an experienced Product Manager for the Partnerships business to help transform the way insurance agents serve their clients and grow their businesses. In this role, you will develop digital-first products and services, leveraging Ethos' offerings to create unique value for agents and drive long-term engagement and retention.

You’ll be responsible for building innovative products and experiences that resonate with agents, ensuring they have the tools they need to succeed. By working closely with cross-functional teams—design, engineering, analytics, sales, and marketing—you’ll create and execute a goal-driven roadmap that includes bold initiatives, experiments, and optimizations to achieve measurable business outcomes.

This role demands an entrepreneurial mindset and a proven ability to deliver results. We’re looking for someone with a blend of intellectual agility, analytical rigor, technical expertise, and a strong focus on customer experience. The ideal candidate will be a passionate advocate for users, demonstrate ownership over their projects, and thrive in a mission-driven environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Product Requirements & Strategy: Lead the identification and definition of product requirements for partnerships-driven initiatives. Collaborate with key internal teams and external partners to gather insights and translate business needs into clear, actionable product features and user stories. Prioritize requirements based on impact, feasibility, and alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Design Thinking & Product Development: Champion a user-centric, design thinking approach to product development, ensuring that partner integrations and solutions are intuitive, scalable, and provide seamless experiences for both end-users and partners. Lead ideation sessions, wireframing, and iterative prototyping to drive innovative solutions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Alignment: Work closely with Product Design, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Business Development teams to ensure alignment on product vision, strategy, and execution. Act as the bridge between internal stakeholders and external partners, ensuring that all parties are aligned on goals, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Stakeholder Management: Facilitate clear and consistent communication with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that everyone involved in partnership initiatives has a shared understanding of product objectives, timelines, and progress. Proactively manage expectations and resolve any roadblocks or conflicts that arise.
  • Roadmap Ownership & Execution: Own the product roadmap for partnership-driven projects, ensuring it is continuously updated based on new insights, business priorities, and market feedback. Drive execution from ideation through to delivery, ensuring that products meet quality standards and are delivered on time.
  • Continuous Improvement & Feedback Loops: Establish processes for continuous feedback from internal teams and partners, incorporating learnings into product iterations and future roadmap planning. Ensure that product features are optimized based on usage data, feedback, and evolving partner needs.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in product management, with a strong track record in driving partnerships, integrations, and business development initiatives. Experience in a technology-driven or SaaS business is highly preferred.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively with business, engineering, and design counterparts. Ability to influence key stakeholders and drive consensus in a fast-paced, growing company.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills with the ability to prioritize competing needs and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Customer-Centric: A deep understanding of the customer journey and a passion for building products that deliver outstanding value to partners and end users.
  • Communication: Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to clearly explain complex product concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Domain Expertise: While insurance industry experience is not required, a strong understanding of technology products, B2B partnerships, and SaaS solutions is essential. A quick learner with a passion for the insurtech space is ideal.
  • Analytical Skills: Comfortable with data analysis and using data to drive decisions. Proficiency in product analytics tools, A/B testing, or similar tools is a plus.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
