About the Role:
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain data marts to support various business functions
- Work closely with cross functional stakeholders to identify and build a roadmap for new data model development.
- Collaborate with application and product teams to understand product and application behavior to arrive at the appropriate data model.
- Build and maintain data marts to support various business functions and carrier partners.
- Optimize queries, and refine data structures to ensure efficient data retrieval and reporting.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity by implementing data validation and data cleansing processes. Perform data quality checks and troubleshoot any issues.
- Set standards for data model development, establish and evangelize best practices within the team and organization wide.
- Maintain detailed documentation of data models for reference and knowledge sharing.
- As a senior member of the team, you will also be responsible for the overall technical excellence of the data marts, lead large projects working with multiple stakeholders and mentor the team on technical aspects.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 6+ years of proven experience in Data Analytics, Data Engineering or a related role
- Proven experience in data analytics, data engineering, or a related role
- Strong proficiency in SQL and DBT for data model development is a must
- Experience with data integration tools and platforms, including Airflow
- Familiarity with Mode or similar data visualization tools
- Knowledge of tools like Segment, Amplitude & Iterable is a plus
