About the Role:
Ethos is seeking a proactive and experienced lead to help drive our influencer marketing and creative content initiatives, with a strong emphasis on User-Generated Content (UGC) and the review of agency-produced materials. You will be responsible for delivering engaging creative content that drives conversion and contributes to our marketing goals. This role requires a strong understanding of paid social and influencer content, a keen eye for compelling creative, and the ability to work autonomously to deliver impactful results.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Influencer Marketing Management:
- Assist in the identification and outreach to potential influencers across various platforms (e.g., Instagram, YouTube, TikTok).
- Help coordinate logistics for influencer campaigns, including onboarding, briefing, and reviewing content to ensure brand alignment and effective execution.
- Track influencer content performance and work cross functionally to gather relevant metrics for reporting.
- Proactively identify new influencer opportunities and innovative approaches to reach our target audience.
- Strong understanding of influencer contracting process and negotiation experience a plus.
- Creative Content Curation & Review:
- Support the collection and organization of User-Generated Content (UGC) for use in marketing campaigns.
- Help ideate net new creative concepts and scripts that can be leveraged for internal UGC production
- Establish processes for collecting, organizing, and securing necessary rights for UGC.
- Critically review creative content developed by external agencies (e.g., videos, social ads, graphics) to ensure it meets brand standards, conversion objectives, and resonates with our audience.
- Provide constructive feedback on creative content based on brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
- Assist in the development of content calendars and ensure timely delivery of creative assets.
- Help maintain a library of approved content for various marketing channels.
- Admin & Reporting:
- Assist in tracking and reporting on the performance of paid social and influencer ads.
- Identify trends and opportunities based on data to continuously improve campaign effectiveness.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Brand and Acquisition teams to ensure creative content aligns with overall marketing strategies.
- Communicate effectively with internal team members and external partners.
- Contribute ideas and provide support to the broader marketing team on various content-related tasks.
- Staying Ahead of Trends:
- Continuously monitor social media trends, emerging platforms, and innovative content formats.
- Proactively identify and recommend new approaches to influencer marketing and creative content.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
- 3-5+ years of experience in marketing with a significant focus on influencer marketing and creative content development.
- Deep understanding of social media platforms, influencer marketing best practices, and effective creative content strategies (especially UGC).
- Excellent judgment and a strong eye for high-quality, engaging creative.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Passion for the Ethos mission and an interest in the life insurance space.
- Proficiency in basic content creation tools or a willingness to learn.
- Experience directly managing UGC programs and providing creative feedback to agencies is highly preferred.

The US national base salary range for this full-time position is $91,000 - $148,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
