Building on our success in life insurance, we are launching a best-in-class annuities platform designed to provide families with reliable retirement income streams. As our Senior Manager, Annuities Sales, you will be a foundational leader responsible for building and scaling this critical new business. We are looking for a strategic, hands-on leader who can build the go-to-market playbook and operational engine while rolling up their sleeves as a player-coach to drive our initial sales success.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Own the entire sales funnel and revenue targets for the annuities division, operating as a hands-on player-coach who actively sells, coaches, and drives weekly execution
  • Build and scale a high-performing team of licensed sales and operations professionals, establishing rigorous coaching rhythms, clear performance metrics, and effective playbooks to consistently raise close rates
  • Operate a hands‑on player‑coach who actively sells, coaches, and drives weekly execution
  • Architect and manage the complete operational backbone—including licensing, suitability, rollovers, and commissions—to ensure an efficient and seamless customer experience
  • Influence product and portfolio strategy using customer insight and unit economics; turn findings into requirements for education, quoting, e‑app, and servicing
  • Shape go‑to‑market strategy with Marketing; tighten the loop from lead quality to scripts and funnel changes
  • Establish coaching rhythms (call reviews, shadowing, certifications) that consistently raise close rates and customer trust
  • Design and implement scalable operational processes for everything from application to policy administration, ensuring a seamless and efficient customer experience on our platform
  • Establish and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to foster a data-driven culture of high performance and accountability for both sales and operations

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A proven seller with deep expertise in the annuities market and a track record of exceeding personal and team quotas in a consultative, compliance-heavy environment
  • 7−12+ years of experience leading inside sales and operations teams, with a reputation for hiring top talent, building effective playbooks, and rapidly improving performance
  • Must hold an active Life & Annuity producer license, be up-to-date with NAIC training, and be ready to take live calls and close business on day one
  • Mastery of the end-to-end annuity process, from suitability reviews and replacements/rollovers to funding and post-issue servicing
  • An analytical operator fluent in forecasting, pipeline management, and modern CRM/telephony systems, with the ability to translate data into action
  • An excellent hands-on coach and writer, able to craft effective scripts and training materials that measurably improve team performance
  • A natural cross-functional partner who uses data and customer insight to influence Product, Marketing, and Engineering
  • Thrives in a fast-moving, tech-forward culture with a strong bias for action and an ownership mindset to make our platform the category leader

Classification of protected categories is as follows:

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
