About the role (What you’ll be doing) 

As the Head of Creative, you’ll be the custodian of the UK-based Eucalyptus brands. This is a unique opportunity to build and shape our creative strategy in a period of rapid business growth. We're looking for an experienced, hands-on, creative leader who has a vision for how to bring our brands to life.

Responsibilities

Deliver impactful creative;

  • Lead a multi-disciplinary team of creatives to create work that wins attention, is purpose-fit for channel and inspires to action
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to define brand narrative. Ensure our brand is lived through our creative assets
  • Take ownership of key projects and pitches, delivering creative excellence while balancing commercial considerations such as resourcing, budgeting, and profitability.
  • Oversee teams, offering guidance to help them deliver their best work. Know when to step in and provide direction and when to step back and empower the team.
  • Be hands on when necessary. Build campaign briefs rooted in insight with clear measures for success. Answer briefs as needed with great work as a solo creative, and a great leader

Build the creative engine;

  • Develop dynamic and effective creative approaches grounded in current insights and a deep understanding of our patients and brand(s).
  • Act as a creative and channel expert, with a deep understanding of the roles, opportunities, and production constraints of different content types across various platforms.

Build and lead the creative team;

  • Manage and mentor a growing team, fostering an environment that drives creativity and innovation.
  • Lead the hiring and development of the creative team, attracting top talent and nurturing the next generation of creatives.

This role reports directly into the Head of Growth, with our Chief Executive Officer / acting Chief Marketing Officer being a key stakeholder.

About you (Who you are)

  • 5+ years of creative experience (agency and/or in-house creative direction)
  • Experience in online and offline advertising ecosystem, including Meta, Youtube, TV and OOH
  • An understanding and appreciation for metrics that drive success, eg. CTR, CPA
  • Great people-manager and mentor, you’re as comfortable leading a team as you are leaning into the nitty-gritty of the work
  • The ability to mix creativity with strategic thinking and commercial understanding
  • You thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, ‘startup’ environment. You have a track-record of problem solving, driving chaos to clarity, and adapting.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
