About the role (What you'll be doing)

As Head of Clinical Operations, you will sit at the heart of Eucalyptus’ Global Clinical function, shaping how world-class, digitally-enabled care is delivered across Australia, the UK, Germany, and Japan. This is a role for a leader who thrives at the intersection of clinical excellence, operational rigour, and commercial strategy, and who wants to redefine what “high-quality telehealth” means on a global scale.

You’ll oversee and elevate the systems, teams, and standards that power our care delivery network. You’ll ensure our services are not only safe and compliant, but industry-leading in outcomes, patient experience, and operational performance. You’ll lead a high-performing team of clinical operations specialists who build, optimise, and scale the engines behind Euc’s clinical governance, quality, and innovation.

Working alongside senior leaders across clinical, regulatory, product, engineering, commercial, and analytics, you will shape the future of our clinical ecosystem, designing the frameworks, processes, and controls that allow Eucalyptus to innovate boldly while protecting patients, clinicians, and the business.

This is a deeply strategic, execution-focused and highly operational leadership role, with enormous scope to drive transformation across a fast-scaling, multi-market health organisation.

In this role, you will:

• Set the direction for Clinical Operations globally - defining the strategy across clinical governance, quality, safety, and value creation, ensuring our care delivery model remains safe, efficient, innovative and commercially strong.
• Design the operating model for clinical excellence - build a structure, culture, and rhythm of accountability that leverages data, insights, and continuous improvement to uplift safety, outcomes, and performance.
• Act as a senior clinical leader at Euc - influencing high-impact decisions, shaping standards of care, and strengthening a culture of clinical responsibility and excellence across the business.
• Build and evolve the systems that underpin safety and risk management - lead improvements in our governance frameworks, quality systems, incident review processes, audits, compliance workflows, and cross-market consistency.
• Drive cross-functional alignment - partner deeply with Product, Engineering, Operations, Growth, Research, Legal/Regulatory, and Analytics to ensure seamless, scalable, safe delivery of clinical services.
• Provide expert oversight for new markets, new treatments, and new care models - ensuring every expansion aligns with regulatory expectations, internal guidelines, and best practice in digital care.
• Represent Eucalyptus externally - cultivate relationships with industry bodies, regulators, clinical partners, and strategic stakeholders, elevating our reputation and building long-term trust and credibility.
• Lead, coach, and grow a high-performing team - inspire excellence, create clear expectations, develop capabilities, and foster a deeply collaborative, impact-driven culture.

About you (Who you are)

• Clinically grounded: AHPRA-registered doctor (or equivalent) with experience in clinical governance, digital health, healthcare operations, or systems-level clinical leadership.
• A proven leader of people and systems: You’ve led teams in complex, regulated, or multi-market environments and know how to build high-performing cultures that combine safety, innovation, and accountability.
• Operationally exceptional: You can design and optimise processes, translate data into action, and build systems that deliver reliable, high-quality outcomes at scale.
• Strategic + executional: Equally comfortable setting long-term direction as you are rolling up your sleeves to diagnose problems, triage risks, and deliver measurable improvements.
• Risk, safety, and quality fluent: You’ve worked with incident management, audits, regulatory obligations, and safety frameworks and can turn learnings into sustainable improvements.
• A cross-functional influencer: Skilled at building trust with clinicians, commercial teams, product and engineering, and external partners or regulators.
• A leader through change: You communicate with clarity, manage ambiguity with confidence, and can bring teams with you through periods of growth, complexity, or transformation.
