Strategy & Operations Associate (12-month Fixed Term Contract)
About Eucalyptus

Eucalyptus is now part of Hims & Hers, the global leader in personalised health and wellness.
Euc is the company behind Juniper, one of the world's largest weight-management programs combining GLP-1 medication with personalised nutrition, movement support, and clinician-led care from prescribers, nurses, health coaches, pharmacists, and dietitians. Our published clinical research shows that our combined clinical and behavioural approach helps patients lose significantly more weight during their treatment with Juniper by four times.
Our Growth Story:
- 130% YoY revenue growth and a 90% reduction in cash burn - culminating in our $1.15bn acquisition by Hims & Hers in 2026, giving us the platform to take long-term care global
- Supported over 350k patients living with obesity across our 5 markets
- Received selective NICE endorsement to provide services to the NHS
- Tailored our offering to thousands of patients in Australia, the UK, Germany, Japan and Canada.
About The Role
The Services team is at the heart of how Juniper delivers outcomes for patients. We run one of the world's fastest-scaling health coaching operations — directly responsible for the engagement, retention, and weight loss outcomes of our patient base — and we're looking for a Strategy & Operations Associate to cover a maternity leave on a 1-year fixed-term contract.
This is a project-heavy, cross-functional role with a lot of variety. You'll work on pressing operational and strategic challenges in the Services function, translating strategy into execution and reporting to the Head of Services. In practice, that means designing and improving the systems, processes, and ways of working that allow us to deliver a great coaching experience at scale.
This role does not include direct people management, but you'll work closely with Health Coaching Team Leads and other cross-functional stakeholders (products/ operations/ clinical team) to drive projects from hypothesis to completion.
No two weeks will look the same. If you're someone who gets stuck in, enjoys problem solving, thrives in ambiguity and wants to do work that improves how we deliver care at scale and affects patient outcomes — this role is for you.
What You'll Do
You'll own a mix of projects and ongoing operational work (typically 2-3+ things at a time) that improve patient outcomes and drive meaningful business value for Eucalyptus.
You'll be accountable for moving core team metrics like engagement with our services, retention, quality of support, and safe practicing within the Health Coaching team.
Drive operational excellence in how we deliver coaching at scale
- Design and optimise the systems and processes coaching teams use day-to-day, to improve efficiency and scalability and ensure we can deliver a consistent, high-quality service as we continue to grow
- Contribute to effective capacity planning, coverage, and resource allocation across the team to meet demand and maintain quality standards
- Spot inefficiencies and fix them — whether that's a broken process, a gap in our tooling, or something that worked at a smaller scale but doesn't anymore
- Translate patient and commercial problems into clear hypotheses, measurable success metrics, and execution plans that ship improvements fast
- Use data and operational insights to inform future service design, ensuring the function scales effectively with business growth
Lead cross-functional initiatives end-to-end
- Act as a primary point of contact for mid-level and senior stakeholders, translating strategic priorities into clear execution plans across the HC team, taking priorities and turning them into clear plans the team can actually deliver
- Work with product, clinical, and operations teams to improve how coaching fits into the broader patient experience
- Own projects end-to-end: define what needs to happen, keep things on track, remove blockers, and see them through to completion - holding a high bar for pace and quality.
Be a strategic thought partner to Services leadership
- Track and improve key performance metrics (engagement, retention, quality, safety), intervening where needed to drive results
- Use data to make the case for what we should prioritise, and to inform decisions about how the team is structured and resourced
- Feed into planning cycles with practical insights grounded in internal team context relevant to your work
About You
- 3+ years in operations, strategy, or a similar generalist role — ideally at a fast-growing company
- Confident with data — proficient in Google Sheets and able to draw practical conclusions from numbers to inform decisions and plans
- Hands-on operational experience — you've improved processes, managed systems, and run projects from start to finish
- Strong communicator — comfortable working with senior stakeholders, translating goals into clear plans, and keeping people aligned as things change
- A creative, positive problem-solver — you take initiative, find solutions, and stay constructive and flexible when things get complicated
- Strong collaborator — you care more about getting things done than getting credit, and you're happy to do the unglamorous work when it's needed
- Commercially aware — you understand how the business makes money and can connect your work to what actually matters
Bonus points
- Familiarity with health coaching, nutrition, or patient-facing services
- Experience in digital health or a health-adjacent industry
- Background at a startup or scale-up
- People management experience (not a requirement, but useful — some project management elements form part of the role)
Why This Role Is Exciting

- Own work end-to-end. You'll drive operational and strategic projects from problem definition through to delivery, with accountability for the outcome.
- Grow quickly. You'll get a lot of variety, real ownership, and the chance to work across strategy, operations, and delivery in a fast-moving environment.
- Work with great people. You'll be part of a high-performance team that cares deeply about patients and holds a high bar for quality.
