About The Role & Team

We are adding a Director, Service Delivery to our Services Team. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), this individual will work across the Services Team to identify and execute strategies to improve the scalability, efficiency, and quality of our services offerings and team. This role is intended to provide leverage across internal verticals and engagement teams, enabling them to manage and deliver their work effectively, consistently, and to a high standard.

What You’ll Do:

Strategy & Personnel:

  • Hold and define the vision for the Service Delivery team, within the Services organization, with a key focus on supporting the end-customer: the internal Services team ultimately benefitting our clients.
  • Proactively capture, define, and execute on team-wide initiatives to drive forward overall strategy.
  • Lead a team of employees to execute on the Service Delivery strategies, providing strategic and tactical direction, coaching and mentorship, performance evaluation, and professional development.
  • Contribute to a team culture focused on professional development and high performance; support the Services hiring process as needed.

Data & IP Management:

  • Develop and lead strategies to centralize data, knowledge, and document onboarding for all projects entering the Euclid ecosystem.
  • Establish and manage a project-level data pipeline that incorporates the needs of customers, engagement teams, Product, and Finance, and enables 1) timely and high-quality first impressions to customers, 2) smooth and efficient internal handoffs to engagement teams, and 3) internal usability of operational and financial data for management and forecasting.
  • Work with the Product Team to define and support automated workflows related to data pipeline and project onboarding.
  • Own the data analysis of past and present engagements to identify and pursue new areas of growth potential, offerings expansion, integration of customized workflows, and internal efficiencies.
  • Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) to standardize and maintain internal review checklists, and manage and expand knowledge body.

Operations:

  • Develop and lead strategies that improve the scalability and efficiency of the Services Team through anticipated company growth, while maintaining the necessary agility for our company stage.
  • Directly oversee and collaborate with internal Smartsheet Solutions team on deployment, maintenance, and implementation of Euclid’s Smartsheet-based engagement infrastructure.
  • Own cross-functional operations across the Services team, including contract and vendor onboarding, new service employee onboarding, engagement billing/invoicing, and other ancillary support services, tools, and trainings.
  • Work with the different Services Verticals to effectively understand their needs, identify areas of overlap, and pursue strategies to streamline and connect their operations while aligning with evolving market trends and organizational goals.
  • Work with Services Leadership and Finance to develop and own effective capacity planning, resource allocation and assignment, and staff utilization for the Services Team.
  • Work in conjunction with Service’s Leadership team on monthly resource and budget forecasting and planning and ongoing financial reporting/reforecasting activities across engagements.

Delivery Standards:

  • Develop and lead strategies to ensure appropriate consistency and high quality service delivery across engagement teams and through Euclid growth stages.
  • Maintain, improve, and integrate as applicable team resources that promote consistency and quality, including training modules, resource library, and knowledge bank.
  • Ensure company project management methodologies, stakeholder engagement, executive status reporting, and overall solution delivery adheres to stage-appropriate best practices.
  • Ensure team and engagement compliance with stage-appropriate standard operating procedures (SOPs), company standards and specifications, and overall adherence to company values.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 10+ years of proven data, project management, and analysis experience; a strong data-first perspective.
  • Proven experience in planning, leading, and delivering on strategic initiatives with measurable business impact in a startup or small team (50-100+) setting.
  • Professional experience in renewable energy development, execution, financing etc.; comprehensive knowledge of renewables project lifecycles and fundamentals.
  • Professional experience and familiarity with the legal, financial, engineering, and/or construction aspects of large infrastructure project development.
  • Professional experience in project management or project management leadership roles.
  • Strategic thinker with a successful track record of leading complex projects; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Expert communicator and negotiator with exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in fast paced environments where business needs are perpetually evolving.

The starting base pay for this role is between $215,000 - $245,000. The base pay depends upon many factors, such as education, experience, and location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified. This role may also be eligible for equity and benefits.
