About Eudia Counsel

Eudia Counsel is an AI-enabled law firm built to deliver high-quality, scalable legal services through a combination of augmented attorneys and proprietary technology. We partner closely with Eudia’s product and engineering teams to build and refine “customer brain,” enabling consistent, efficient, and business-aligned legal outcomes.

Our model is designed for modern legal work, where data, software, and AI are central to how companies operate. We focus on delivering reliable legal execution while continuously improving how legal services are delivered.

Role Overview

The Compliance Lawyer oversees Eudia Counsel’s compliance with the Arizona Alternative Business Structure regulatory framework and the Rules of Professional Conduct.

The Compliance Lawyer serves as a senior advisor to firm leadership on regulatory, professional responsibility, and risk matters, with the authority and access to information needed to identify, escalate, and address compliance concerns.

This role owns the firm’s regulatory and ethical compliance framework, not routine management or supervision of individual client matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as Eudia Counsel’s designated Compliance Lawyer, as applicable, under Arizona’s ABS regulatory framework.
  • Oversee compliance with ACJA § 7-209, applicable Arizona Rules of Professional Conduct, ABS licensing requirements, and related regulatory obligations.
  • Advise leadership on whether proposed business models, services, engagements, workflows, and organizational structures implicate legal-services or professional-responsibility requirements.
  • Help determine whether activities constitute legal services, law-related services, or other services where that classification affects regulatory compliance.
  • Own policies on conflicts of interest, attorney independence, confidentiality, privilege, supervision, professional responsibility, and the use of technology and AI in legal-service delivery.
  • Monitor the firm’s required Arizona attorney coverage and other personnel or governance requirements for its ABS license.
  • Oversee required ABS regulatory filings, audits, notifications, certifications, and responses to regulatory inquiries.
  • Conduct or oversee periodic compliance reviews and identify areas requiring remediation.
  • Provide or coordinate professional-responsibility and ABS compliance training.
  • Escalate material compliance concerns directly to the GM and executive leadership.
  • Coordinate with the Managing Attorney on compliance issues arising from client matters.

Qualifications

  • Active member in good standing of the State Bar of Arizona.
  • Satisfies all qualifications required to serve as Compliance Lawyer under applicable Arizona ABS regulations.
  • Significant legal experience, preferably involving professional responsibility, law-firm management, in-house legal practice, regulatory compliance, or legal-services delivery.
  • Strong understanding of attorney ethics, conflicts, privilege, confidentiality, supervision, and professional independence.
  • Experience evaluating technology and AI-enabled legal workflows preferred.
  • Ability to exercise independent professional judgment and communicate directly with senior leadership.

Why Eudia Counsel

This role offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of AI-enabled legal services, helping shape how legal work is delivered in environments where software, data, and AI are core to the business.

You will not only practice law, but also help build the systems and processes that define the next generation of legal delivery.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 07/31/2029

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
